RULES:
• A maximum of two entries will be accepted per college.
• The duration of the dance should be a minimum of 3 minutes and a maximum of 5 minutes.
COMPETITION REQUIREMENTS
• Contestants are required to create the performance with the theme already defined for the event.
• Locking, popping, krumping, house, stepping, breakdancing, wacking, tutting, vogueing, party dances, hip-hop choreography are all permitted.
• Props that are not considered an integral part of a crew’s attire (for example, canes, chairs, tambourines, and musical instruments) are prohibited.
• Contestants should carry their tracks on a pen drive and submit them in advance.
• Contestants must submit music of their choice to the coordinators prior to the deadline.
COMPETITION RESTRICTIONS
• Dance performances should not convey any indecent gestures.
• Vulgarity of any kind with respect to dance moves, costumes, etc. will lead to disqualification.
• The competition music must not contain inappropriate, lewd, or offensive language.
• There will be no use of fire on stage.
COMPETITION PRIZES/AWARD
• The participants will be judged based on their choreography (creativity, variety of dance styles, and difficulty), performance, showmanship, intensity, projection, and attire.
• The panel’s decision is final and irreversible.
